Restaurants are the "unsung heroes" of A Taste of Newark. It is their delicious fare, outstanding presentation and exquisite service that keep guests returning each year. Those that support the event provide sampling/tasting dishes for approximately 400 people, ranging from appetizers to soups, from salads to entrees, and, yes, desserts. To commemorate its 40th anniversary, Link commissioned a short film. A Matter of Justice, produced by Open Eye Pictures, tells the story of Link through the eyes of its founders, students, alumni, teachers, trustees and principal.

Link Principal Marnie G. McKoy joins Mayor Cory Booker, Tiki Barber, and others in an MSNBC roundtable discussion led by NBC's Al Roker about "A Father's Promise", a documentary featuring Link Student Heru Kirkland that addresses the absence of fathers.
